Garmin Topo Us 24k West Firefox

Maps have a draw priority coded into them. High priority maps cover low priority maps. City Navigator has a priority of 30, my map has a priority of 31. Therefore, if both maps are enabled together, my map will be displayed on the screen while City Navigator will be available for routing, address search, speed limits, lane assist, etc.Thank You!I just found that my favorite topo map has a draw priority below 30, so I changed it to 35, and rebooted my Montana, yet it still will not show above city navigator, which did show a draw priority of 30.I rechecked the topo.IMG file on my Montana, and the map tool indicates it has now a draw priority of 35.What am I missing? What am I missing?Possibly nothing. I think the Montana firmware has always been buggy regarding multiple maps, and the newest firmware seems to have made it worse.I have one profile with both City Navigator and my topo enabled. It works fine if I start the GPS with this profile active.

If I switch to another profile that only has City Navigator, that also works fine. Also works fine in another profile that only has the topo. But if I switch back to the profile with City Nav + topo, the topo map does not show. The Map setup dialog shows the topo is enabled. I can disable it then re-enable, but it still won't show. But if I power down the Montana, then power it back up, it works properly with the City Nav + Topo combination. In the old firmware, this bug only appeared sporadifcally.

With the new firmware, it behaves like this every time. Possibly nothing.
